Hi All,

I hope
everyone is safe and healthy!

E-Learning will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The work for each week will remain open until Friday. Every Friday, we will have a Google Meet at 10 a.m. to check in and see each other. I will send the link out on Remind and Google Classroom on Friday morning. There will also be a check in form, if you miss the Google meet session!

All the student's assignments will be posted on Google Classroom. The link for our Google Classroom, along with other useful websites, is under "Useful Links" on this page. There should also be an application on the students' iPads to access Google Classroom. On the E-Learning days, please have the students comment under the assignment template posted for attendance purposes. All the assignments I will post, the students should know what to do. I do not plan to do anything new that the students are unfamiliar with, unless I am instructed otherwise. I will have all the students Apple IDs and passwords. If you, or a student need it to sign into your child's iPad, please contact me!

The best way to stay in contact with me is through the Remind application. Another good way to contact me, is by email. However, I may not respond as quickly. During our E-Learning weeks, My office hours will be from 8:00-11:00 and 1:00-3:00. I will also try to be available outside those hours as well. If you are not signed up for our classroom on Remind, please do so ASAP. The link to sign up, my email, and the Google Classroom link is posted below!

Hi Everyone,

The final week of E-Learning is here! We are almost there! Thank you for all the help and support. This is a challenge for me as well. Thank you again!

I have received most of the work posted in Google Classroom, however I am missing some assignments. Some assignments are not posted in Google Classroom. Some work will need to be completed on different websites such as, Spelling City and Readworks. These websites are all posted on our classroom website, under "Useful Links". The students should know how to get there. RDS has been updated. If you are missing assignments you can ask me, or find out on RDS. The missing assignments will not have a grade.

Every E-Learning Day, there will be a morning post with an E-Learning template attached below it. This shows all the assignments for the day. This is just a reference page for parents and students. It does not need to be signed or turned in. Please make sure you are checking this template for every E-Learning day.

With the last day of "school" for the students being this Thursday, May 21st, I would like to do our Google Meet that day, to say goodbye! I will plan to have the last Google Meet of the year at 2:00 this Thursday.

There is no spelling, grammar, or reading this week! Any late assignments have to be submitted no later than this Thursday, May 21st by 3:00 pm. Grades for report cards are due for teachers by Friday!

Student supply pick up and drop off is scheduled for Saturday, May 23rd, from 10:00-2:00pm. The students can come pick their supplies from their desks via curbside pick up. Also, the students will need to drop off their iPads, and any library books they may have. Please try to make it to the pick up/drop off if at all possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know!

I want to thank you all for letting me have the privilege of being your child's teacher this year! I know it was a crazy one! I want to tell you all that this was a wonderful class, and one that I will never forget! If any of you need anything in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out! I will always be there for the kiddos!

Be healthy and safe. I miss you all and have a great summer!

Sincerely,

Mr. C
